ELIVIS PRESLEY TRIBUTE
Project Presley - The Music of The King
CHANCE TINDER, front man for Project Presley:Chance is a multi award winning "Elvis Presley Tribute Artist" with more than 28 years in the "Elvis Entertainer Business". Chance has been a part of the Elvis Presley phenomenon since the late 1980s, when he was first discovered in Southern California by none other than Bill Medley of the 1960s 'blue eyed' soulful musical super duo, "The Righteous Brothers". Chance is also alumni of the award winning Las Vegas celebrity look-alike production shows, LEGENDS IN CONCERT & AMERICAN SUPERSTARS (1990 to 2000), and most notably, from 2000 to 2012, over 7,000 performances with Casino Arizona's SHOWSTOPPERS LIVE, in beautiful Scottsdale Arizona. That's two shows a day, 6 days a week, for nearly 12 years!!!
Today, Chance continues to tour both nationally and internationally with "PROJECT PRESLEY: The music of the King". Not an impersonation! Chance is more than your everyday Elvis entertainer/performer/stylist. He's an accomplished actor, recreating a legendary character... As seen on stages across America, Europe and Asia. Chance has also been seen in movies and television, including but not limited to: MTV, VH-1, HARD COPY, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, ABC/CBS/NBC NATIONAL NEWS and multiple other international and regional 'talk shows'.
MOVIES: Death Becomes Her, Honeymoon In Vegas, Psycho Sushi.
MUSIC VIDEOS: Cheryl Crow's "Leaving Las Vegas" and Go West's "King of Wishful Thinking" (Featured in the movie 'Pretty Woman'). Chance's secret is believing it's not so much the voice that is most important, but it's knowing how to "re-imagine" the man himself on that stage! It's basically the attitude of Elvis Presley... Shy but confident... Knowing exactly what he's doing... And doing it today! Chance isn't Rich Little or Jimmy Fallon doing a 'spin' on Elvis Presley. He's Chance Tinder, the actor, celebrating a legendary character... Much like actor Joaquin Phoenix portraying 'Johnny Cash', entertainer/actor 'Jamie Foxx' as the great 'Ray Charles', or Val Kilmer as 'Jim Morrison'.Chance doesn't simply imitate or just sing the songs, he tells the story of Elvis' life and career, and yet adds the slender nuances of expression that only an actor can add after invested hours in studying for his role.
What Chance does as an actor, representing the music of Elvis, is very similar to what Val Kilmer did in "The Doors." Kilmer, Julliard-trained actor, sang Jim Morrison's songs so well that even the surviving band members couldn't tell the difference... And the same has been said of Chance Tinder & Project Presley! Through all of Chance's experiences in show business, none has given him more gratification and fulfillment than celebrating the music and legacy of his childhood hero, the "KING OF ROCK & ROLL", Elvis Presley!
